Tampa Artist Dustin Miller Unveils Large-Scale Metal Sculptures at AER Apartments, Activating Tampa’s Emerging Arts & Entertainment District
TAMPA, FL — AER Apartments (Arts & Entertainment Residences), located between the Tampa Museum of Art and the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, has commissioned Tampa Bay metal artist Dustin Miller to create a series of monumental outdoor sculptures that define and energize a new pedestrian promenade in downtown Tampa.
The collection, composed of Miller’s signature abstract, large-scale metal forms, introduces a dynamic visual landmark to the city’s rapidly developing arts corridor. Each sculpture is designed to encourage residents and visitors to pause, look upward, and experience the urban landscape in a more reflective and inspired way.
Miller, known for his bold modern designs and innovative metalwork, described the installation as a deeply meaningful moment in his artistic career.
“I hope my viewer feels a sense of relief when viewing my work. It’s a great privilege to have contributed to this great new landmark locally in the heart of downtown Tampa,” said Dustin Miller. “My hope is that these sculptures become part of how people experience and remember this emerging arts district and feel inspired.”
